Dr. Gih (he/him/his) is a Professor and Vice Chair of Education in the UNMC Department of Psychiatry and works clinically in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Clinic. He is the founding program director of the UNMC psychiatry residency program. He completed his medical education at the University of Iowa and trained at the University of Michigan for his psychiatry residency and fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry. While on the faculty at Michigan, he co-founded and directed the University of Michigan Comprehensive Eating Disorder Program, the state's only academic partial hospitalization program for children and young adults with eating disorders.
