The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation actively seeks outstanding physiatrists with a strong desire to further their academic careers and advance the science and education in the field.

We are building a team that will place UNMC on the national and international stage for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, creating an environment that will provide extraordinary patient care while our students and faculty are empowered to conduct innovative research.

The Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Department will support the growth and development of an inpatient physiatry consult service, comprehensive integrated inpatient rehabilitation programs, and outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and spine clinics.
