Expectations
This Certification offering is delivered online with one campus visit for skills assessment and award of certification. Participants are expected to view the online lecture and demonstration video, review the handouts, and complete checkpoint assessments. Prior to receipt of certification, participation in a UNMC College of Pharmacy campus visit is required. This visit may be virtual or physical at our Omaha campus at S. 42nd Street and Emile Omaha, NE.
While this is a complete at your own pace offering, a 90-day completion time is expected. However, we recognize that special circumstances may warrant an extension on completion time.

Prerequisite Module fee | $60 |
Required for candidates who do not meet the 6 months of pharmacy technician work experience admission requirement. | |
Pharmacy technicians employed with Nebraska Medicine receive a $10 discount. |
