Dr. Stonewall started her career as an emergency medicine clinical pharmacist after the completion of her residency in 2018. During that time, she has precepted pharmacy students as well as PGY1 and PGY2 pharmacy residents. She most recently served as the Assistant Residency Program Director for the Emergency Medicine Pharmacy PGY2 program at Nebraska Medicine.

As of early 2024, Dr. Stonewall transitioned to a primary role in the Office of Experiential Programs at the UNMC College of Pharmacy. She maintains a clinical role and practice site at the Nebraska Medicine and Bellevue Medical Center emergency departments.
