- Featured Speaker – Dr. Nada Fadul, MD, Professor, Division of Infectious Diseases,
Assistant Dean, Inclusive Education, College of Medicine, Medical Director, Specialty Care Center, UNMC -
Dr. Fadul is active in global health and runs the UNMC Sudan ECHO Global Hub, a telementorship platform which disseminates knowledge to healthcare professionals in underserved regions. She is the founder of the Sustainable Development Response organization (SuDRO) and the Sudan Echo Center of Excellence. Dr. Fadul's research focuses on implementation science and health services research on HIV health disparities. She has published in peer-reviewed journals, presented her research at national and international conference, and mentored several students and trainees. Dr. Fadul’s local and global work emphasizes community engagement; cultural sensitivity; and gender and health equity. She is active in advocacy for patients with HIV and humanitarian issues facing Sudan.

- Featured Speaker – Dr. Tanya Rogo, MD, Fellowship Program Director at Brown Division of Pediatric Infectious Disease
- Dr. Rogo discussed her work with the University of Rwanda and the Human Resources for Health Program, building longitudinal, sustainable programs aimed at strengthening capacity at partner institutions. As well as her efforts in global health education, curriculum development, and workforce diversity.
