We investigate a rare neurocutaneous disease, Sjogren-Larsson syndrome, caused by genetic deficiency of fatty aldehyde dehydrogense. Research projects range from clinical trials to biochemical and molecular studies to understand the pathogenic mechanisms of symptoms, develop new therapeutic approaches, and characterize the clinical features.
