Health System Sciences

The Division of Health System Sciences (formerly Biomedical Informatics and Health Systems Science) is a non-clinical division within the department of pediatrics. Our division is focused on applying research methods to optimize the systems involved in patient care starting with the information systems (informatics). Additionally, our faculty lead efforts to optimize research operations across the University of Nebraska system and the region in collaboration with the Great Plains IDeA-CTR. Our team includes two faculty members who contribute their clinical, public health and informatics expertise to the success of the division, the department and the Child Health Research Institute.
