Dr. Elizabeth Null is an assistant professor of genetics in the department of Pediatrics at University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska. Originally from St. Cloud, Minnesota, she obtained a Bachelor of Science in Genetics at the University of Minnesota before moving to Nebraska, and then California, to complete her medical training. Throughout her pediatric residency and genetics fellowships, she has also curated interests in medical education and narrative medicine. She is passionate about utilizing creative writing as a reflective tool to create community amongst medical providers and lift patient voices. She is dually boarded in Pediatrics and Clinical Genetics and is board-eligible for Medical Biochemical Genetics. Dr. Null serves on the Nebraska Newborn Screen Advisory Committee and is actively involved through the American College of Medical Genetics.
