The three pediatric / congenital cardiothoracic surgeons and numerous pediatric sub-specialists are integrally involved in clinical and academic training thus producing exceptional outcomes and providing the cardiac program at Children’s Nebraska.
Patient Volume
Our Cardiac Service Line provides cardiac care along a continuum from the fetus through infancy and childhood, extending into adolescence and adulthood.
Last year our team performed:
- 11,087 imaging studies
- 8,996 electrocardiograms
- 9,448 outpatient evaluations
- 452 operations, 230 open heart operations
- 498 catheterizations
- 524 exercise tests
