Physical Therapy Evaluation
Physical therapists are movement experts who create individualized treatment plans and work with patients directly to improve mobility, manage pain, recover from injury, and prevent future injury or illness. They can also work with other hospital staff to provide recommendations on how staff can assist a given patient with mobility in the safest possible way. Many hospitals have an automatic referral process for physical therapy if a patient presents to the hospital due to a fall or is identified as being at risk for a fall.
