About Us

Our Team

Alyssa Bouska, PhD, instructor
My research interests involve using high-throughput sequencing techniques
to investigate genetic and epigenetic abnormalities found in B cell and
T-cell lymphomas in hope of ultimately improving diagnosis and identifying
therapeutic targets.

Xuxiang Liu, PhD, senior scientist
My main research interest is to understand the pathogenesis of
peripheral T-cell lymphoma and NK-cell lymphoma using primary
human cells in which combinations of genetic abnormalities are
introduced and studied.

Anurag Kumar, PhD, postdoctoral research fellow
My research interest is to understand the pathogenesis of
angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma (AITL) by utilizing primary
human cells and genetic alterations.

Abdul Rouf Mir, PhD, postdoctoral research associate
Research: I investigate oncogenic pathways in aggressive
T-cell lymphomas using mouse models with an eye on potential
therapeutic targets.

Ravneet Singh Chawla, MS, PhD candidate
Research: Cooperative interaction of TET2 and IDH2R172 in epigenomic reprogramming in AITL.

Dylan Jochum, BS, PhD candidate
Research: Delineating the role of TP53 deletion and CCR4 mutations
in PTCL-NOS.

Soma Mehfuza, MS, PhD candidate
Research: Determining the cooperative role of TET2 and TSC2 gene
mutations in the pathogenesis of nodal T-follicular helper cell lymphoma.

Syed Mehmood, MBBS, laboratory technician
I work on lymphoma tissue bank eLab inventory along with processing and cryopreservation of LSG tissues, PTCL study samples, and AITL DNA gel extractions for the Iqbal and Tadros labs.
