Aleh Oleg Bobr, MD, is an international medical graduate from Belarus. Early in his career, he was involved in basic science research focusing on the role of skin Langerhans cells in the immune response.
After completing an anatomic and clinical pathology residency and a transfusion medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic, he changed his research and career focus to clinical application of apheresis procedures and optimization of processes in hospital blood bank.
As a clinical pathologist, he is interested in quality and process improvement initiatives.
