Clinical Trials in Obstetrics and Gynecology

The physicians with the University of Nebraska Medical Center Gynecologic Oncology division are committed to staying up to date with treatments for gynecologic cancers as well as seeking out new investigational therapies not available through standard treatment options. Kerry Rodabaugh, MD is a member of NRG, a non-profit cancer research organization affiliated with the National Cancer Institute. The UNMC gynecologic oncology physicians are involved with the BIG10 Research Consortium.

Currently available are clinical trials for the diagnosis of cervical, endometrial, ovarian, peritoneal, uterine, and fallopian tube cancers. These clinical trials include new drugs, new approaches to combinations of treatments, and even quality-of-life studies.  Pamela Nielsen RN, BSN, OCN is our research nurse and may be contacted at 402-559-4924.  Erin Reed is our clinical trials research coordinator. A listing of all clinical trials currently enrolling subjects at UNMC may be found in Clinical Studies.
