Canvas is the official academic Learning Management System across the University of Nebraska System. Content such as learning modules, schedules, presentations, videos, and resources specific to the specialty are available to the medical students on the clerkship Canvas course.

Students may join for free to access the many resources from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists organization. Students are encouraged to join as early in the rotation as possible for full benefit. This site offers the latest information regarding many issues in women's health and has Practice Bulletins, Committee Opinions, and Clinical Reviews which are useful resources for learning while on the rotation.

The clerkship's curriculum uses the standardized curriculum developed by this organization. The Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics Medical Student Educational Objectives have been created by their Undergraduate Medical Education Committee and are reviewed regularly. Medical students have access to the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics uWISE question platform while they are on the clerkship. The board-style questions offer a self-study tool for learners to use to gain knowledge and prepare for the National Board of Medical Examiners OB-GYN subject exam.
