Want to Beat Breast Cancer Disparities?
Women of color, and women who live in communities that lack resources, die more often from breast cancer than other women.
You Can Help Change That
- Seeking breast cancer survivors, within 12 months of diagnosis, for a research study.
- Women will review videos on the new UNMC Beating Breast Cancer website and complete surveys on their home computer.
- Research participants will receive compensation for participation.
Who can participate in this research study?
- Breast cancer survivors, in any stage any treatment
- Diagnosed within 12 months or less
- Black/African American, Hispanic, Native American and/or living in a low-resourced neighborhood
- Able to read English
