College of Nursing Divisions
A Nursing Campus 500-Miles-Wide
The UNMC College of Nursing is nationally and internationally recognized for its world-class delivery of education, research and nursing practice. We serve students in a diverse community of students, faculty and staff throughout the world.
In Nebraska, we offer five divisions within our 500-mile campus that extends from each end of our state’s border. Our students choose programs that meet their career goals from locations in Scottsbluff, Kearney, Norfolk, Lincoln and Omaha.
Each division echoes our commitment to eminence in nursing leadership that fosters personal, professional and scholarly growth in an exceptional learning environment within a world-class health science center. Some courses are taught synchronously across more than one of the divisions, giving students the opportunity to learn from faculty experts in other parts of Nebraska.
Divisions Across Nebraska
Located in Heart of Midtown Omaha
The Omaha Division is adjacent to the popular Blackstone District which is a revitalized historic district in Omaha, extending from 36th Street to 42nd Street along Farnam Street. Students enjoy contemporary dining, nightlife, shopping and living experiences as diverse as the area itself.
Study in Lincoln at UNL City Campus
Brand new in 2018, the College of Nursing-Lincoln building is located next to downtown which is an electrifying district, overflowing with the energy of its historic roots and modern flair. Nestled close to the University of Nebraska - Lincoln campus, it serves as a melting pot of culture, cuisine and entertainment. It offers something for everyone to enjoy and explore.
Education with Experience in Scottsbluff
We are home to campfires and nights under the stars, fish caught, trails hiked, and discoveries made. We’re home to dripping ice cream cones and hot air balloons soaring through the western sky. Landmarks are more than just Scotts Bluff and Chimney rock. Landmarks are how we find our way.
Kearney Has You Covered
Outdoor recreation lover, museum explorer or a super shopper, no matter what your speed, Kearney has it for you. Enjoy the local cuisine, international flare, cafes, pubs, national franchises and good ol’ Nebraska beef. Sightseers from all around come to see the annual migration of one million Sandhill Cranes every spring as they fuel up before resuming their northward migration.
Norfolk's Welcoming Charm
Norfolk is a small city like no other. Beautiful and quaint, it takes up just 10 square miles. Norfolk prides itself on its commitment to culture and art. Numerous outdoor murals adorn the exteriors of buildings, all painted by local artists. City events include parades, shows, farmers market and live music in the park.
