Adult-Gerontology Acute Care NP
The Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AG-ACNP) focuses on the diagnostic reasoning, assessment and management of the acute, complex and life-threatening health care issues of adolescents through the elderly both in hospital and in clinic. The AG-ACNP performs and interprets advanced diagnostic and therapeutic interventions to diagnose, stabilize and treat acute and complex conditions. They recognize patients in acute and complex health care settings who manifest health problems or changes in their health status requiring evaluation and treatment by specialty providers.
