UNMC’s like home for Gold ‘U’ recipient Alice Weyant
Her father worked here. She has worked here for more than 30 years. Two of her children work here. Heck, Alice Weyant got so comfortable here, she nearly delivered her second child in the old HR/Benefits office.

Spirit Week 2011 – Scavenger hunt, Spirit Lunch and more ugly sweaters
The Spirit Week Scavenger Hunt gets underway at 11:15 a.m. today and the Spirit Lunch kicks off shortly thereafter at 11:30 a.m. Both events start in the Truhlsen Campus Events Center in the Sorrell Center.

Regents approve final part of UNMC energy savings plan
UNMC’s goal to reduce energy consumption by 25 percent in five years — which could save the medical center millions of dollars annually — is well within reach thanks to the University of Nebraska Board of Regents’ approval of two initiatives on Thursday.
