Speaker sees hope for public health problems in global HIV response
Wafaa El-Sadr, M.D., M.P.H., has helped spearhead the development of several successful HIV care and treatment programs in resource-limited countries. In the process, she saw solutions manifest that may be used to confront other global public health problems.

New certificates will help train Nebraska’s public health workforce
In Nebraska, the need for expanded training in public health is great. To help meet that need, UNMC’s College of Public Health has expanded its educational offerings with two new, one-year certificate programs in emergency preparedness and infectious disease epidemiology.
