Fremont group donates $60,000 to support Alzheimer’s research at UNMC

Group’s total contribution now exceeds $215,000 since 2014

Marv Welstead, 98, has been a driving force in raising money in the Fremont area that will go toward Alzheimer's research at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Welstead's wife, Jean, died in 2009 after an eight-year battle with Alzheimer's.
