UNMC and the University of Nebraska at Omaha recently celebrated the recent accreditation of a joint Master of Public Health (MPH) Program. The program received national accreditation May 13 by the Council on Education for Public Health.

UNMC rheumatologist writes review for prestigious journal
James O’Dell, M.D., professor of medicine and chief of the section of rheumatology and immunology at UNMC, has written a review for the country’s most prestigious medical journal. Unlike other published articles, this was by invitation. The 4,000-word review, titled “Therapeutic Strategies for Rheumatoid Arthritis,” appears in today’s (June 17) issue of the New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM).

Affiliation agreements enhance cultural competence
