Tour of Hope cyclists promote cancer clinical trials
Sharing a passion for cancer research, five cyclists ride into the darkness, guided by the light of hope. In all, 20 cyclists – cancer survivors, physicians, nurses, caregivers, researchers and loved ones – are relaying 3,500 miles, round-the-clock as part of the Bristol-Myers Squibb Tour of Hope, an eight-day journey across America to invigorate the public about the importance of cancer research.

UNMC’s Physician Assistant class of 2006 will set up an information booth about the profession today from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. outside the Nebraska Cafe and at Clarkson Tower. Today is the beginning of National PA week, which runs through Oct. 12.

Designated shuttle lot to expedite travels
