Medical center to launch hospital in Bellevue
The Nebraska Medical Center Tuesday unveiled plans to build the Bellevue Medical Center, a 60-bed hospital at the southwest corner of 25th Street and Highway 370 in Bellevue.

Events to raise money, awareness for autism program
After raising more than $642,000 for the autism program at UNMC’s Munroe-Meyer Institute last year with a dinner and golf tournament, Gail Werner-Robertson has even bigger plans for this year. Founder and CEO of GWR Wealth Management LLC, Werner-Robertson hopes to raise $1 million this year through a three-day series of events running June 3-5.

Bike to work? Participate in commuter challenge

Nebraska Sen. Ben Nelson paid UNMC a visit on May 5 to get a first-hand look at what many think is the future of surgery — mini-robots.
