Physical therapy education receives University-wide award
Pat Hageman, Ph.D., can’t help but smile. And as the director of the Division of Physical Therapy Education at UNMC, she has good reason. On Thursday, the division was honored with the University-wide Departmental Teaching Award, given to a department within the University of Nebraska that has made unique and significant contributions to teaching.

Arts for Hearts seeks painters
Organizers of this year’s Arts for Hearts Show and Silent Auction are seeking up to 30 people to hand-paint plates and mugs for the annual art and craft show. Proceeds from the May event support the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s Recreation Therapy Program.

Groundbreaking signals new era of medical education
A new era of medical education is about to be launched at UNMC. The launching will take place Tuesday at 10:30 a.m., with a formal groundbreaking ceremony to celebrate the beginning of construction of a new education building on the UNMC campus.
