Dr. Todero to leave College of Nursing after 28 years

A longtime key administrator and educator for the UNMC College of Nursing, Cathie Todero, Ph.D., will be leaving UNMC on July 14 to become director of the School of Nursing at San Diego State University.

Grant may help Nebraska meth addicts

Rep. Lee Terry recently visited UNMC to discuss with Bruce Buehler, M.D., a pilot program that may help change the epidemic of methamphetamine addiction not only in Nebraska, but in the United States. Terry was instrumental in getting $150,000 in funding for the Integrating Systems against Methamphetamine Abuse.

Bartee named vice chancellor for external affairs at UNMC

Bob Bartee, executive assistant to the chancellor since joining the medical center in 1980, has been named vice chancellor for external affairs at UNMC. The University of Nebraska Board of Regents Thursday approved the new appointment, creating the fourth vice chancellor post at UNMC.
