Dr. Rena Boyle, former nursing dean, dies

Former UNMC College of Nursing dean, Rena Boyle, Ph.D., died Monday, July 10, in a Phoenix nursing home at the age of 91. She served as dean of the UNMC College of Nursing from 1967 to 1979.

Society for the Study of Reproduction to meet in Omaha

The Society for the Study of Reproduction has contributed to assisted reproductive technology including in vitro fertilization methods in humans and animals, the development of contraceptive pills, pregnancy diagnosis tests and fetal monitoring. Now, they are coming to Omaha for their 39th Annual Meeting, which will be at Qwest Center Omaha July 29 through Aug. 1. The annual meeting will be hosted by UNMC.
