Creative ideas the focus of Chancellor’s Strategic Plan Retreat
UNMC’s leadership team will come together Wednesday for the annual Chancellor’s Strategic Planning Retreat. This year’s retreat will focus on several ideas and will be highlighted by presentations on regenerative medicine and biomedical informatics by international experts in those fields.

Reduce, reuse, recyline emphasized in education trailer
Stop by the 53-foot-long semi-trailer on the medical center campus this week to learn more about environmental stewardship. The trailer will be located outside the Durham Research Center through Wednesday, then move to the north side of the Student Life Center.

Diabetes Center opens as one-stop shop
The Nebraska Medical Center is now the premier place for specialized diabetes care and education. The hospital’s new Diabetes Center, which opens today, is the only one of its kind in the state and in the region dedicated to offering comprehensive care for patients with diabetes.
