Participants of the Munroe-Meyer Institute’s Adult Social Club recently attended the Nebraska Belly Dancing Spectacular in Omaha where they met belly dancers who gave them a history of belly dancing and showed them some moves.

But that is exactly the winning formula Peggy Wheelock, Ph.D., said led to the success of seven junior investigators at UNMC to obtain their own RO1 grants from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
