Transplant medicine center, dentistry renovations on regents agenda
The University of Nebraska Board of Regents will be asked on Friday to approve the creation of the UNMC Center for Transplantation Medicine. They also will get an update on renovation plans for the College of Dentistry.

Dr. Mercer takes reins of intestinal rehab program
Take something great and make it better. That’s the goal of UNMC transplant surgeon David Mercer, M.D., Ph.D., as he takes over as director of the medical center’s intestinal rehabilitation program for Deb Sudan, M.D., who has moved onto Duke University.
