UNMC, Latino Center of the Midlands lead Latina Latino youth conference
More than 250 area high school students from Nebraska and Iowa, along with 30 counselors, teachers and volunteers, will be on campus Friday for the 18th Annual Latina Latino Youth Conference.

Campus invited to groundbreaking for $14 million nursing building
On Oct. 22 at 10:30 a.m., the UNMC College of Nursing will host a ceremonial groundbreaking for a building that will expand capacity to accept more nursing students and prepare more nursing faculty. It also will enable the college to expand its research program.
