Dr. Smith named physician of distinction
Each spring and fall, UNMC’s hospital partner, The Nebraska Medical Center, selects two “Physicians of Distinction.” This past fall, the medical center presented Phil Smith, M.D., professor of infectious diseases at UNMC, with the “Physician of Distinction, Clinical Educator Recognition.”
