The University of Nebraska Board of Regents has set UNMC’s total 2009-10 revenue and expense budget at $534.7 million, an increase of 4.5 percent over the previous year.

UNMC pharmacology journal receives high rating
Four years ago Howard Gendelman, M.D., chairman of the Department of Pharmacology and Experimental Neuroscience, partnered with the Society on NeuroImmune Pharmacology and Springer Publishers to create the Journal of Neuroimmune Pharmacology. In a field already crowded with journals, it was unclear whether another one would make it.
