H1N1 clinics for staff and students today
Students and staff are invited to receive H1N1 vaccinations at clinics today in the University Tower Private Dining Room B. The clinics will run from 7 to 9 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m.

Dr. Gibbs certified as ABIH diplomat
Shawn Gibbs, Ph.D., associate professor in the UNMC College of Public Health’s Department of Environmental, Agricultural and Occupational Health, is now a Certified Industrial Hygienist (C.I.H.) of the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH).

Afternoon on Dec. 24 deemed holiday, UNMC offices to close
Gov. Dave Heineman has deemed the afternoon (1 to 5 p.m.) of Dec. 24 a holiday. This means all holiday-eligible UNMC employees can receive (paid) administrative leave for the afternoon and medical center offices will close.
