Boston Brass to play UNMC on Oct. 15, tickets remain for evening show

The Boston Brass Quintet will perform at UNMC on Friday, Oct. 15 at noon in the Durham Outpatient Center West Atrium to preface their joint performance that evening with the Imani Winds.

UNMC Grants – Dr. Li nets NIH grant for heart failure/nervous system research

Yulong Li, M.D., Ph.D., assistant professor in the UNMC Department of Emergency Medicine, recently received a four-year, $1.5 million grant from the National Heart, Lung and Blood Institute to study the role the nervous system plays in heart failure.
