A note concerning possible insurance changes

Former orthopaedics chairman Dr. Connolly dies at age 71

Funeral services were held recently for John Connolly, M.D., who served as professor and chairman of the UNMC Department of Orthopaedics for 17 years. Dr. Connolly, who was orthopaedics chairman from 1974 to 1990, died July 31 in Orlando, Fla., at age 71.

The University of Nebraska Board of Regents recently approved the UNMC College of Nursing’s request to change the name of two of its three academic departments. … The gerontological, psychosocial and community health nursing department is now the department of community-based health and the parent-child, administration department is now the department of families and health systems.
