Coping with disaster aftermath focus of Wednesday forum
In the wake of the tragedy at Von Maur on Dec. 5, the importance of first responders is evident. That includes not only police officers, fire fighters and security personnel, but also the behavioral health responders who went to the Hampton Inn near the Westroads Mall on that fateful night to be with the families who had lost loved ones.

Dance for those with disabilities a success
More than 200 people danced the night away at the “Winter Wonderland” dance for teens and adults with developmental disabilities on Saturday, Jan. 19 at the UNMC Student Life Center.
