Retired UNMC employee Sharon Lewis died Sunday. An administrative tech in cashiering, Lewis joined UNMC in December 1980 and retired this past October. Services are Thursday.

Cycling team makes donation
The Team Kaos cycling team, of which UNMC and The Nebraska Medical Center are title sponsors, has made a $1,500 donation to the Dave Babcook Memorial Fund. The memorial fund is used for pancreatic cancer research at the Eppley Institute for Research in Cancer and Allied Diseases.
