Comparative Medicine employee receives certification
Joseph Krajicek, assistant director for operations, UNMC Comparative Medicine, has been awarded professional certification as Certified Manager of Animal Resources. He is the second person in UNMC’s Department of Comparative Medicine to be certified at that level.

MMI AmeriCorps hosts Child ID Day
The UNMC Munroe-Meyer Institute’s AmeriCorps recently held its second Child ID Day. In all, 48 children were fingerprinted and photographed using ID kits.

UNMC physicians on Best Doctors list
Selected by their peers, 182 UNMC physicians are recognized as being among the Best Doctors in America. Physicians are selected on the basis of the question: “If you or a loved one needed a doctor in your specialty, to whom would you refer them?”
