Blackboard will be unavailable June 1-2 so the new version of the software can be installed. The upgrade is required by Blackboard to maintain the manufacturer’s support of the product.

Power to End Stroke Campaign launched

It happened to Coretta Scott King, Luther Vandross and most recently to baseball player Kirby Puckett. And it may happen to you – a stroke. Blacks are almost twice as likely to have a stroke as whites, and about 100,000 African Americans will suffer from one this year. That’s why Rubens Pamies, M.D., vice chancellor for academic affairs at UNMC, and others are teaming up with the American Stroke Association this month to launch the Power to End Stroke campaign in Omaha.
