Schwartz Center Rounds continue Aug. 29
Beginning in 2007, UNMC will host six bimonthly Schwartz Center Rounds. That’s welcome news for many at UNMC, who find value in discussing the non-medical facts of patient care, including team work and decision-making choices. Attend the next Schwartz Center Rounds Tuesday at noon in the Private Dining Rooms.

Block party Aug. 26 to showcase midtown businesses
Destination Midtown is throwing a party – a block party – from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Aug. 26 to highlight the vast array of merchants, restaurants and service providers doing business in midtown Omaha. The party will be in the parking lot of UNMC’s Student Life Center, 39th and Jones streets.
