Rita VanFleet, adjunct senior clinical associate at UNMC and chief nursing officer and vice president of patient care services at The Nebraska Medical Center, and fourth-year nursing student, Anne Schlautman,were honored during the fourth annual March of Dimes “Excellence in Nursing” awards ceremony in November.

Several UNMC Physicians employees gathered at the Turner Park Health Clinic on Saturday to distribute gifts to the families of indigent patients who are seen at the clinic. It was the third-straight year clinic employees took part in the donation.
