Vikas Gulati, M.D., (second from left) associate professor of ophthalmology and visual sciences, was one of the UNMC faculty recognized at last month's Circle of Distinction event. He has been named the Carl B. Camras, M.D., Professor of Ophthalmology. The endowed professorship through the University of Nebraska Foundation is named in honor of Dr. Camras, who died in 2009 after serving as chair of ophthalmology at UNMC for nine years.
