Amy Mead, with Nebraska Medicine emergency services, will present a free webinar on “Decreasing Compassion Fatigue in the Workplace: the Journey to Compassion Satisfaction for Healthcare Workers” on Tuesday, May 9, at noon.
Compassion fatigue can occur in health care workers, but there are questions about why and whether it is a symptom of burnout. Mead will describe workplace wellness initiatives that can foster compassion satisfaction, as well self-care techniques to help build resiliency.
