Construction crews are preparing to start the second portion of retaining wall removal at the demolition site for the former J. P. Lord school and Munroe-Meyer Institute building.
Barricades are scheduled to be placed on Monday, Nov. 28, to close the east sidewalk on Saddle Creek Road from Emile to Farnam streets and the curbside vehicle lane for northbound traffic (marked in red in the image below).
The sidewalk is expected to reopen by Dec. 9, weather permitting. The retaining wall project began in September.
