What is it?

Comprehensive drug information resource integrated with UpToDate
Current clinical information on dosing, mechanism of action, drug and food interactions, contraindications/warnings, administration guidelines, IV compatibility, patient education, and many more tools
Institutional formulary medications under Nebraska Medicine tab
- If medication name is on formulary, the drug name will be listed under Nebraska Medicine.If the medication has a restriction, it will appear after the drug name in parentheses
  - To find out more about the restriction or Nebraska Medicine-specific details, open the link
- If the drug name is not listed under Nebraska Medicine, the medication is not on formulary.

When to use it?

To validate & verify medication information, especially new or infrequently used medications

How to access? There are several ways to access the information.

From your Epic home screen, click on search icon, type in Lexicomp, proceed to page

• Navigate to Clinical Resources on the NOW webpage

2. On the EPIC homepage, navigate to hyperlinks on the dropdown menu and choose Lexicomp
