As part of the 2022 Wellness Fair, UNMC Regional Pathology Services will support physical wellness (one of the10 dimensions of wellness) by offering blood testing for both men and women’s health.
Self-registration appointments will be available along with walk-ins the day of the health fair. Patients may schedule an appointment online to select the tests they wish to receive.
Patients should fast for 12 to 16 hours prior to the blood draw. Only credit card payments are accepted and will be collected at the time of the blood draw.

- Women’s Health Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH) $20
- Women’s Health Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, VITD) $23
- Women’s Diabetic Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, A1C) $28
- Women’s Diabetic Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, A1C, VITD) $37
- Men’s Health Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA) $25
- Men’s Health Panel + Vitamin D (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA, VITD) $30
- Men’s Diabetic Panel (CBC, CMET, LIPID, TSH, PSA, A1C) $35

Single tests available:
- Hemoglobin A1C (A1C) $8.50
- Vitamin D (VITD) $8.50
Test panel components:
- Hemoglobin A1C (A1C) is a test that shows what your average blood sugar (glucose level was over the past two to three months).
- Complete Blood Count (CBC) measures many different parts and features of your blood.
- Comprehensive Metabolic Panel (CMET) measures 14 different substances in your blood. It provides important information about your body’s chemical balance and metabolism.
- Lipid (LIPID) measures the level of lipoprotein in your blood. A high level of lipoprotein may mean you have a high risk of heart disease and stroke.
- Prostate Specific Antigen (PSA) measures the level of PSA in a sample of your blood. PSA is a protein made by your prostate.
- Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test measures the level of TSH hormone. TSH levels that are too low or high may be a sign of a thyroid problem.
- Vitamin D (VITD) measures the level of vitamin D in your blood. Vitamin D is essential for healthy bones and teeth.
The 2022 Wellness Fair is Wednesday at the Center for Healthy Living gymnasium (Student Life Center room 1007) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. More than 40 campus organizations and departments, as well as community businesses and non-profits, will provide resources to med center students, faculty and staff that encompass the 10 dimensions of wellness.
