A farewell reception for Janet Guthmiller, DDS, PhD, dean of the College of Dentistry, will be held on Sept. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. at the UNMC College of Dentistry in Lincoln.
Speakers, in-person or by video, will include:
- Jeffrey P. Gold, MD, chancellor
- Dele Davies, MD, senior vice chancellor for academic affairs
- Emily McElroy, dean of the McGoogan Health Sciences Library
- Kyle Meyer, PhD, dean of the UNMC College of Allied Health Professions
- Karoly Mirnics, MD, PhD, director of the Munroe-Meyer Institute
- Juliann Sebastian, PhD, dean of the UNMC College of Nursing
- Sheritta Strong, MD, assistant vice chancellor for inclusion
Remarks will start at 1:15 p.m.
Dr. Guthmiller will become the dean of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Adams School of Dentistry in October. Rowen Zetterman, MD, has assumed the role of interim dean.
