Nebraska Medical Orchestra returns live tonight

The Nebraska Medical Orchestra will perform tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The Nebraska Medical Orchestra will share its first in-person performance in two years tonight, breaking an extended hiatus thanks to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The event features the previously postponed debut of the Nebraska Medical Choir and premiere of a new orchestral composition by UNMC resident Nick Yeutter, MD.

The concert also will include the premiere of the Nebraska Medical Choir.

The free concert is set for 7:30 p.m. tonight at the Jan and John Christensen Concert Hall at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

The NMO and NMC are volunteer musical groups comprised of students, staff and faculty from UNMC’s campuses, and from other health care clinics and campuses in the Omaha area. These organizations are open to all area health care-affiliated musicians.

The musicians represent many areas of health care including physicians, pharmacists, nurses, scientists, therapists, nutritionists, academic faculty, lab technicians, researchers, medical office staff and students across all colleges and programs. For more, please go to this link.
