Commencement ceremony information

This week's commencement ceremony will be at the Baxter Arena.

Medical students attending the Omaha commencement ceremony can pick up their academic attire Wednesday, May 4, between 1 and 4 p.m., or Thursday, May 5, between 8:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Pick up will be on the second floor of Williams Science Hall.

Students are not required to participate in the ceremony if they don’t feel comfortable doing so. The ceremony will be live-streamed. Each ceremony will last about two hours.

Masks will be required for everyone in attendance for the duration of the in-person ceremony. There will be no COVID-related restrictions on the number of guests allowed per graduate and tickets will not be issued.

The ceremony will be Saturday, May 7, at 9 a.m. CST at Baxter Arena, 2425 S. 67th St., Omaha.
