Olson Center event focuses on taking great photos

Kent Sievers

The Olson Women’s Health Resource Center will host its next “Wellness through Doing” series on hobbies, with UNMC’s Kent Sievers leading an introductory course on the basics of photography.

Have you ever wondered why your cell phone pictures don’t look as good as you hoped? Why can’t you capture the beauty that is right in front of you?

Sievers, photographer with the UNMC Department of Strategic Communications and previously of the Omaha World-Herald, will teach participants how to set pictures up to capture the moment and make photos more interesting.

Join the Olson Center on Wednesday, April 6, at noon for this free virtual class. The Zoom link will be sent to registrants prior to the event.

Register on Engage, email Candyce Dunlap or call 402.559.6345.
